How to Embrace AI in Your Business

The Bloom Room

When AI first started to make its presence known in the world I’m sure we all had the same picture pop into our mind, Arnold Schwarzennegar slowly lowering himself into a vat of molten metal finally ending the Terminator robots dominance over mankind. Fortunately since then we’ve seen it excel in less apocalyptic areas, such as recreating the voice of Freddie Mercury singing the theme from Titanic - seriously check it out, it’s unexpectedly tear jerking.

Now as impressive as reassembling Freddie’s unique vocal chords is, AI is proving even more powerful in the business world.

Customer Support

Chatbots are constantly evolving and now have the ability to interact with your customers in a natural manner using a conversational tone. As much as it’s fun wearing a Britney Spears style headset and acting out the queen of pop’s hits in between calls, it’s no longer needed in the same amount as before. Now we get it, you’re a small business and you want to chat personally to all your customers. Sometimes it’s just not possible though, and AI can free up your time to spend more time growing your empire.

We use AI throughout all our customer service protocols here at Jellyfish, because as much as we love belting out ‘Baby one More Time’ in our headsets, it’s important to us that our customers get the answers they need quickly. We use AI to gather customer insights, spot commonly asked questions and develop FAQs to give our customers the best service possible.

Help With The Future of Your Business

Okay, we haven't quite gotten to the stage of predicting lottery numbers yet, but AI can definitely be used to look ahead and make some pretty useful decisions. (Think of it as your own crystal ball, but just with a lot more data, science and technology behind it.)

We use tools ourselves here at Jellyfish to help us predict patterns in your energy usage so that we can give you an educated guide to how your future bills are going to look. This also allows us to accurately predict energy consumption and also map out the growth of our company - all using the magic that is AI.

The tools we mention above have all been specially designed for our business by our own tech team (apparently they’ll never give away their secrets) but there are numerous technology companies online that sell software which can help you do the same.

Image Creation

You’ve got an image in your head, you can easily visualise and explain the detail, but when it comes to actually creating it in physical form let’s just say you didn’t pay enough attention in your school art class. Step forward AI. Mainstream tools such as Canva are now adding AI image generators to their already impressive set of tools. All you have to do is explain the vision in your head, and let the artistic AI elves do the rest.

You may spot a little bit of creative AI design all throughout our social media graphics as it’s one of our social media team’s favourite tools to use.

Reporting

How many hours have you poured over a spreadsheet or powerpoint, watching the hours go by as you diligently plug away at a report. Exchange those hours for seconds with the help of AI and automation - but let’s not tell your boss that!

Here at Jellyfish we produce daily, hourly and weekly reports that are all automated and sent directly to our heads of department at their convenience. This instantly gives the tools they need to help manage their team and make key decisions.

Our Recommendations

Here’s a few tools we’d recommend getting started with:

Chat GPT

An incredible use of AI which hit the headlines last year. Ask it to do anything - we dare you!

Grammarly

We couldn’t survive without Grammarly installed on our browser. It instantly flags mistakes and checks our grammar, meaning no more email typos!

Zapier

Zapier is one of our favourite tools that helps sets of data to speak to each other. For example, if you wanted to record leads from your website into a spreadsheet to track, you could fully automate this using a zap.

Fireflies

Never worry about taking notes in a meeting again, Fireflies transcribes your meeting, records key conversation topics and it’s helpful bot Fred can send a summary of all the information too.

What AI tools do you use in your business? One tool we’d recommend to manage your business energy has to be our Jellyfish platform app allowing you monitor and predict your energy usage, amongst a whole host of other benefits. Learn more about joining Jellyfish here.
