The Green Foundation is a charity that aims to contribute towards a greener and more renewable future, by educating people on sustainability, confronting fuel poverty through hardship grants, and offering foundation or community funding.
Every month.
From February 2024, on the first of every month, £1.00 of every customer’s Jellyfish bill will be donated to The Green Foundation, to help tackle fuel poverty and support community initiatives across the UK. This will not be an additional charge to customers, but will be incorporated into Jellyfish’s product rates across the company.

The charity shares our core value of transparency, educating consumers about the energy market, while being a vital support for those facing fuel poverty.
As our customer-base grows, so will our monthly donations. We are looking forward to reporting back to our customers on what we have achieved, all thanks to their payments.”

Local impact.
Offering consultancy and financial support to those going through energy hardship, The Green Foundation also offers grants for energy-saving community projects.
Aidon added: “One thing we are keen to do with The Green Foundation is to offer community groups funding to reduce their long-term energy costs and thus make a positive impact to local projects. This could be by updating lighting, installing smart meters, or simply by providing training on how to save energy.”
Recent proposals that The Green Foundation has received include, updating the lighting at a local football club, installing a smart meter into a wellbeing hub and providing workshops at warm spaces on how people can save money on their energy bills.
