Understanding your deemed supply.
These rates apply where Jellyfish Energy supplies electricity or gas under a Deemed Contract in accordance with our Business Terms. They form part of those terms and apply under their Deemed Contract provisions.

You can find your meter profile class on the Supply Number on your electricity invoice. It is the first two-digit number on the top line.

A rate foryour Supply Point.
Half-hourly electricity charges depend on the characteristics of the individual Supply Point. We calculate these charges using our prevailing pricing methodology, rather than publishing a standard half-hourly deemed tariff.
The calculation may consider wholesale electricity market prices; the expected consumption profile; balancing, settlement and forecasting costs; industry, network and regulatory charges; operational and commercial costs; and credit and supply risk.
The rates for your Supply Point are provided on your bill or made available on request. We normally review Deemed Rates monthly, although they may be updated at any time where reasonably necessary to reflect changes in market conditions or the cost of supply.
Gas deemed rates.
Gas bands are determined by Annual Quantity (AQ): an estimate, derived from meter readings, of a site’s gas usage over a 12-month period.
