Films + Energy = Jellyfish

When you’re an energy provider, the thought of energy really does take over your life. 

You can’t help but notice how much energy people are using, what their bills might look like and how you as a supplier could help. 

With this in mind, we thought we’d list the top five films, as voted for by our team, where we just couldn’t stop thinking about the energy costs.

Oppenheimer 

As big energy bills go, Oppenheimer did not care about his usage. We understand he had other things on his mind like creating a bomb that would be the destroyer of worlds, but we can’t even imagine what his monthly tariff would look like. 

Additionally, he then created a whole town for his scientist friends, which made us think he really could have benefitted from the Jellyfish app to manage his multiple sites.

Home Alone 

Kevin Mcallister did not care about energy bills, in fact, he probably completed every parents’ worst nightmare. Not losing your child and leaving them halfway around the world, but the fact that he left every single light on while trying to scare away those pesky thieves. 

If only Peter McAllister had the Jellyfish app, he would have been able to see his account at a glance and question the massive spend while he was out the country.

Monsters Inc

We really do appreciate a whole film dedicated to energy, there really should be more of them.

Monsters Inc is also way ahead of its time in sustainable energy as harvesting children’s screams for energy is a great way towards a greener future. 

However, this is most likely a) not very sustainable and b) not very ethical, maybe it would have been more in their interest to sign up to the Medusa platform, send their customers our way and earn instant monthly payouts.

Frankenstein 

Science breakthroughs are great but we do again concern ourselves with the power usage. 

To bring someone back to life, a feat which has never been done before, must have used a lot of electricity.

We think Victor Frankenstein would have loved our tech focused approach to energy account management, so he could unleash his monster upon the world, without getting an additional fright when his monthly payments started clocking up.

Every Horror Film
